Caren Clark – her experience in the kitchen and bath industry began in 1982 with a broad spectrum of involvement in many aspects of design and customer service. Caren began her career with a local custom cabinet manufacturer and has worked for a big box store as well as a specialty woodworking company. Currently she has “the best job ever!” at Custom Kitchen Designs by Dixie Lumber in Easley.  She regularly attends trade events such as the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show to  stay up to date on the latest kitchen and bath design trends. Caren also presents at home and remodeling shows on topics such as “Working with a Professional”, “Budget Friendly Remodeling,” “This-Not That,” “What’s Your Style?” “15 Things to Know Before You Remodel”.  Caren’s personal work ethic embraces a belief in the importance of attention to detail, doing the job right the first time and a commitment to constantly develop her skills and knowledge. Caren has been an active member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association for many years and a Certified Kitchen and Bath designer since 2004. She is presently an active member of the NKBA Piedmont Blue Ridge Carolina Chapter serving as President.

Ken Howell –  Ken started in the kitchen and bath industry as a designer in Pensacola, Fl. While there he also had opportunities to work with builders, remodelers, and other designers on many projects throughout the panhandle. He and his family moved to the Upstate after Hurricanes Ivan and Katrina hit western Florida. Ken worked for a local cabinet manufacturer for several years, and continued to learn more about the kitchen and bath industry. He then began a business in real estate, buying houses, fixing them up, and selling them. Still in the kitchen and bath industry, he partnered with a rep marketing group that covers the Carolinas offering kitchen cabinets, backsplashes and closets. Ken has been a part of the National Kitchen and Bath Association for three years, and currently serves as the VP of Membership for the local NKBA Piedmont Blue Ridge Carolina Chapter, and speaks at local trade shows on “Tips and Trends in the industry”.
